Walmart Canada’s Associates Danced “For the Kids”

The third annual “For the Kids Dance Event” was held at Walmart Canada’s Home Office on October 26, 2018. The incredible Home Office associates hit the dance floor to raise funds for sick and injured children in Canada. This is one of the many types of fundraising that Walmart Canada and their associates participate in throughout the year for Children’s Miracle Network. The announced fundraising total was $52,115, though fundraising for some teams is not yet finished. The current top fundraising team has raised over $35,000!

Walmart Associate Talking to the Crowd

Walmart associates got into the spirit of the afternoon. They dressed up to preform choreographed dances to the likes of MC Hammer, the Spice Girls, and Men in Black! The entire crowd also learned and preformed Michael Jackson’s Thriller together! Those Zombie walks were pretty spooky!

The crowd was inspired by 2018 Champion Child Ethan as he told his story of being a patient at McMaster Children’s Hospital in Hamilton, Ontario. He also spoke about his experience this year as a Champion Child and thanked Walmart Canada for helping to make it all possible by presenting the program.
