HuskyTHON looks to Raise Them Up for their 20th anniversary

This year, HuskyTHON, Dance Marathon at University of Connecticut, sets out to make more miracles than ever before as they embark on their 20th year. Coming off of their record breaking year of raising over $1 million for Connecticut Children’s Medical Center, HuskyTHON is back and stronger than ever this year as they look to “Raise Them Up”.

HuskyTHON is a unique philanthropy and experience on campus, as the students get to interact and build relationships with the children and families who benefit from the money the students raise all year long.

Since 1999, HuskyTHON has been able to “Raise Them Up” as they help to better the lives of the kids, families, nurses, doctors and staff at Connecticut Children’s Medical Center in Hartford, CT as well as mobilize their campus to join a cause bigger than themselves. This has resulted in the cultivation of a state-wide community fighting for the same cause: For The Kids. At the end of the dance marathon this February, they will raise up their final total, revealing the number of miracles they were able to make possible through year-long fundraising efforts.

HuskyTHON brings together the entire UConn community, but HuskyTHON would not be able to accomplish their goal without the support and generosity of the entire state of Connecticut. None of this would be possible without every single person banning together to prove the power “we”  have to come together and “Raise Them Up.”
