HuskyTHON shatters records by raising $1.3 million!

This past weekend, HuskyTHON celebrated their 20th year supporting Connecticut Children’s Medical Center. Nearly 3,200 students and 50 patient families filled the Hugh S. Greer Field House on UConn’s campus to participate in the 18 hour dance marathon.

The energy and excitement of the 18 hours culminated in the moment their year-long fundraising total of $1,328,402.19 was revealed. Students cheered, hugged, and cried many tears of pure joy as a result of their overwhelming success.

This accomplishment makes HuskyTHON the number one fundraiser for the medical center, and brings their 20-year total to over $6 million raised.
