Dairy Queen Employee Giving Kick Off

Dairy Queen officially launched their internal employee giving campaign on Wednesday March 28th with a very special guest, miracle child Maddy.

Maddy inspired the team by sharing her story and how funds have made a difference for her living with Spina Bifida.

At the same time, Cat, Maddy’s mom shared a message of gratitude for all DQ has done for kids just like hers.

The DQ employee giving campaign has helped make some outstanding impacts on the home office’s local hospital (Gillette Children’s) including; in 2016 opening of a new therapy pool.

The new pool includes several features specifically designed to meet needs of children who have disabilities. The pool floor lowers into the water, so patients don’t need to use a ramp or lift to get in, and therapists can set an ideal depth for each patient. The floor can function as a treadmill, when needed. Underwater cameras can help therapists observe and evaluate patients’ movements. Adjustable jets can change the level of resistance the surrounding water creates as patients work on therapy exercises.

DQ’s employee giving campaign does not support just Gillette Children’s as remote and field staff are able to choose their local hospital to make an impact locally.

DQ’s employee giving campaign was kicked off with messages of support from CEO Troy Bader and Cause Marketing Manager Adam Layne.
