Dairy Queen: Prompting Crew Members to Make the Ask

Dairy Queen’s annual miracle balloon campaign starts June 1st.

One of the most important elements of a successful balloon campaign is making sure that employees ask every customer, every time. To help with this process, Dairy Queen is reminding their crew members to make the ask by implementing a register prompt.

Through the register system, Dairy Queen stores can add prompts to appear on the register screens at different points in a transaction. These messaging prompts are a good way to remind staff to ask each customer if they would like to make a donation to their local Children’s Miracle Network Hospital.

Dairy Queen’s miracle balloon campaign leads up to Miracle Treat Day—when $1 or more of each Blizzard Treat sold at participating locations is donated to local CMN Hospitals. Miracle Treat Day is August 2nd in the US and August 9th in Canada. Mark your calendars to help make kids lives better by eating a Blizzard!
