Boosterthon Changing The World For The Kids at DMLC!
This past weekend some of our friends from Boosterthon hopped on a plane to Indianapolis. There, they joined us for this summer’s Dance Marathon Leadership Conference (DMLC). DMLC is an opportunity for our Miracle Network Dance Marathon students to learn about best practices for growing their programs. They also make connections with other leaders across the nation, show off some of their best dance moves, and develop skills that will serve them well after graduation. This year, over 950 students came from all across the country for our best DMLC yet!
During the conference, Boosterthon Leader Development Manager Ike Ubasineke presented on: Leading Yourself and Others in a Dry Season. His presentation focused on resources students can use to hold themselves and others accountable all year long. Students learned how to connect their personal growth, the growth of their team members, and their bold goals all at once. At the end of the session students left with a game plan for the year ahead, and maybe a few pieces of confetti in their notebooks.
Thank you to Ike and the entire Boosterthon team for their presence and passion this weekend! If you would like to learn more about how Boosterthon and CMN Hospitals have teamed up to Change The World For The Kids, please contact Natalie Weston at nweston@cmnhospitals.org.
