Rite Aid supports CMN Hospitals with Bears for Humanity and annual balloon campaign

New for 2018, Rite Aid has partnered with Bears for Humanity to launch a special promotion to raise additional funds for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. Bears for Humanity teddy bears will be sold at more than 3,800 Rite Aid stores in 31 states across the country with $1 from every purchase going to local children’s hospitals. The bears are available in cream, brown and pink.

Chloe

Money raised goes to help kids like Chloe who was diagnosed and treated for leukemia. After more than two years of painful treatments, Chloe is now cancer-free. She visits the hospital for lab work every three months to ensure the cancer doesn’t return. Funds from Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals provided Chloe with a port for receiving oncology treatments and a vein finder machine that helped locate her veins when she received her initial diagnosis.

And beginning March 25, Rite Aid is excited to launch their 24th annual balloon campaign for CMN Hospitals running through May 12. Rite Aid customers can be a part of a sick or injured child’s healing team by purchasing $1 paper Miracle Balloons and receive coupon offers for a variety of items sold at Rite Aid.

JaKiah

Funds helped build the healing garden where JaKiah spent days recovering at her children’s hospital after being treated for kidney cancer. Now five years cancer-free, JaKiah will continue to receive numerous ultrasounds, CT scans, X-rays, blood work and check-ups until 2023 to ensure she remains cancer free.

Thanks to Rite Aid customers and employees for helping raise $87 million for CMN Hospitals since 1994.
